St. Margaret’s Church will hold a “Quiet Christmas” service of remembrance on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. in the church. The service will include special music and prayers for those who have recently died and will serve as a means of comfort and peace for those left grieving. The church would like to welcome all those in the community who are also saddened by the recent loss of life in the Connecticut shootings last week.  

“Our season of tremendous hope and anticipation has been visited by incredible anguish,” said the Rector of St. Margaret’s, the Rev. Peter W. Mayer. “If nothing else, this Christmas will feel different. We will move on, but we can only do so together.”

St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church is located at 1601 Pleasant Plains Road in Annapolis on the Broadneck peninsula.
