Annapolis Man Faces Multiple Charges in Domestic Incident
The victim claimed her ex-boyfriend forced her to withdraw money at an ATM machine in Crofton, according to police.
An Annapolis man forced his former girlfriend to go with him to an ATM machine in Crofton to withdraw money on Sunday, according to Anne Arundel County police.
Marvin Mareco Redding Jr., 30, faces multiple charges in the incident that was reported to police by the victim around 5:45 p.m. Sunday at the High's store near Bay Dale Drive in Annapolis.
The victim told police that Redding, who is her ex-boyfriend, arrived at her home in southeast Washington, and forced her to go to an ATM machine in Crofton to withdraw money. Redding then took the money and continued driving until he fled the vehicle on foot in the vicinity of Bay Dale Drive in Annapolis, according to a release from police.
An investigation resulted in police taking Redding into custody on Monday afternoon at a residence in the area of Paca and Hamburg streets in Baltimore.
Police said Redding faces charges of robbery, theft, false imprisonment and second-degree assault.
