A juvenile reported to police that he was grabbed by an unknown male suspect, aged 19-23 years old, in the 400 block of Shore Acres Road in Arnold at 7:30 p.m. Friday, according to a press release. Broadneck Elementary School is a few blocks away.

Police said the two struggled, and the victim defended himself by kicking and screaming. The suspect then fled on foot.

Officers and K-9 units canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Additional patrols have been added to the area and detectives are continuing an investigation.

The suspect is described as a white male between 19-23, with chin-length dark hair and was last seen wearing dark clothing with a dark, hooded sweatshirt, according to the release.

Anyone with information may contact Anne Arundel County police at 410-222-6145.

This story was updated to correct the nearby school being Broadneck Elementary, not Arnold Elementary. Patch regrets the error.
