Indoor track and field athletes across Anne Arundel County went head-to-head Wednesday night, and Broadneck runners came out ahead in two meets.

The runs took place on Wednesday at Prince George's Sports and Learning Center.

Girls in the south and boys in the north rose to the top of the scoring charts after the competition.

In the fifth event, Broadneck High's girls took first and second place in the girls 4x800 meter relay. And in the sixth event, boys swept the 4x800 meter relay.

In the finals, Broadneck's two teams placed third and fourth.
