Broadneck Best Patch Pick - Best Vet Services

After a month of voting which turned out to be a nail biter, we announce the winner.

And the winner is...

Actually, from the comments of appreciation and love from Broadneck area customers, all three of the veterinary businesses nominated (Arnold Pet Station, Arnold Veterinary Hospital, and Hoffman Animal Hospital) have a loyal following.

But the business that garnered the most votes was...

Arnold Veterinary Hospital where "walking through the door to most patrons is like visiting old friends." Customers expect a friendly greeting from the staff and a bright, clean room for resting and waiting.

The facility boasts state of the art X-Ray and surgery equipment, kennels for boarding and knowledgeable doctors who take time to address any and all concerns pet owners might have.

Customer Jeannine Kurtz said it had the "best vet in the Broadneck Peninsula!"

Another voter declared, "We have been taking our animals to AVH since 1987."

Dennis McArdle added to his vote message, "I have been using their services since the mid 1980's and have always found the staff efficient, friendly and professional. The doctors are always knowledgeable, skillful and empathetic but above all else both the staff and the doctors are truly concerned about their patients, our beloved pets. They know our names and the names of our pets both current and past, all without a glance at a piece of paperwork or a computer. I highly recommend Arnold Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for the best care for their pet."

Look for their "Broadneck Best Patch Pick" certificate on display in the coming days.

And look for the announcement of our next "Broadneck Best Patch Pick" contest soon on Broadneck Patch.

About this column: Join other Broadneck residents in voting for the Best Broadneck has to offer. We collect three nominations of products, services, volunteers, and professionals in the Broadneck area each month. Local writer Carly McGree Wyman will visit with each nominee and profile them. We then ask our readers to vote for their top choice. Voting takes place all month through emails to editor Laura.Tayman@patch.com. One vote per email allowed. The winner will be announced the first of the next month and will become an Official "Patch Pick." Good luck to all!
