Track and field bouts start Friday morning in London, marking the launching point for Broadneck star runner Matthew Centrowitz' Olympic career.
NBC will air two sessions of the qualifying rounds for track and field races Friday morning—10-10:30 a.m.; and 11:30 a.m. to noon. For more listings information, see NBC's website.
According to the official USA Track and Field website, Centrowitz' first 1,500-meter qualifying run is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. London time, putting it squarely at 10:05 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Supporters of Centrowitz on Twitter have recently taken to using the hashtag #CentroNation, a phrase that can be seen around Arnold, as well.
