Charity Golf Tournament in Arnold to Benefit Pasadena School
The fundraiser will benefit Sunset Elementary School's Relay for Life team.
A golf tournament at the Bay Hills Golf Club in Arnold Monday will benefit a local school and the American Cancer Society.
The cost is $280 for a foursome and $75 per single player. All funds donated benefit Sunset Elementary School's Relay for Life team. Relay for Life is an event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
Event organizer Alex Berberian said they have had several people sign up already. Berberian's wife Sheri is Sunset Elementary's relay team captain.
"The response has been great so far with about eight foursomes signed up," said Alex Berberian. "We've only done Facebook advertising and sent out emails to friends and family."
The cost for entry covers the game of golf, rental of a cart, lunch, and a sleeve of golf balls. Prizes will be awarded to the winning foursome and for the winners of the longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin competitions.
Sunset Elementary School has hosted two events already to raise funds for their Relay for Life team, a spaghetti dinner in March, and a fundraiser at Bill Bateman's this week.
The golf game begins Monday at 9 a.m. at Bay Hills Golf Club in Arnold. For more information on the golf tournament, contact Berberian through his Annapolis Craigslist posting.
