Cops Nab Burglary Suspect in Arnold
Lawn equipment and tools were stolen from the homes.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested in the theft of tools from a home undergoing renovation. A home next door also was hit.
Based on information provided by victims and witnesses, Anne Arundel County police arrested Michael Joseph Conti, 49, of the 800 block of Chestnut Tree Drive.
Officers responded Thursday to a burglary report at a home in the 1100 block of Hampton Road in Arnold. A home under renovation and an adjacent home had been burglarized, according to a police statement. Tools and lawn equipment had been taken from the homes.
Victims and witnesses helped authorities to identify Conti as the suspect, police said. Several pieces of stolen property were located and returned to owners.
"The investigation revealed that the suspect took the property the previous night and stored it at a relative's home nearby," police said.
Conti was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, and trespassing.

The front yard of this guy looks like he's been real busy gathering up other peoples stuff. Hope the cops find the rightful owners for it. What a disgrace to the community to have a house with a front yard like that. Where's the fines for running an illegal junk yard???

The family has requested help and NO one will help them. He needs help and it's sad it had to come to this but the family is both saddened and relieved. No I knew this guy all my life and i'm sure If it was you're family you wouldn't want people talking trash about them... He has a very nice family and it's hard enough on them, then to have to read this. It's sad
