Donation Fund Established for Man Killed On Job

Residents of the Amberley community have established donation fund the family of the contractor who was killed while removing a tree from their neighborhood after Hurricane Sandy.
Santiago Lopez, 50, died on Wednesday afternoon in what his friends have called a "freak accident" that happened in front of his son. Lopez was well known in the community, and had worked for W.D. Olsen Tree Care, an Annapolis-based tree removal service, for more than 10 years.
Anyone wishing to donate can visit any branch of M&T Bank, where there is a Santiago Lopez Family Fund. The account number for the donation fund is 9860482679.

Thank you for setting up information for donations to Santiago's family. He was loved by all who came in contact with him. Santiago always came with a smile, and was a kind stewart of our garden. A wonderful member the greater Annapolis community who made a positive contribution us all.
