This really sends a message about the value we place on human life. We really have some winners for judges. Why not suspend all 60 days so we don't disrupt the life of this self-centered lowlife?

The message here is one about the character of our judges and the systematic failure of the Judicial Branch at every level. This man left those children on the road for dead - as if they were nothing. The judge did it again with drive-by justice which left our entire community vulnerable to the predators who get into vehicles drunk and/or drugged over and over without consequences to their depraved and indifferent actions. As a victim of a hit-and-run driver, I spent two years trying to get a dangerous criminal off of the roads but Frank Weathersbee, the assistant district attorneys, and most of all the judges made this an ordeal that was lengthy and costly to me and my family. This November vote out all of these local judges!

So I need to ask the inevitable question. Is this person a creature of habit or victim of circumstance? Simply, the tragic death of Kara an accident and now a second accident that led to leaving the scene. Well I can’t judge until the third casualty happens.

I am very happy to see that there are so many in the community that really care. Mr. Goldman was only sentenced for the Hit and Run in AACO on Dec 5, 2011. The judge could not use Kara and Sean's accident in consideration of the sentence because he was not charged for their accident (neither was he tested for drugs/alcohol that night). The courts did disclose during his hearing that he had two priors - 1 in 1986 and 1 in 1987 (DUI/DWI related charges). Again he was not charged for this during the December accident because the officer did not see him driving the vehicle, Mr. Goldman self disclosed this information to the officer. The police report also states that the officer went to Mr. Goldman's house that day at the request of the Baltimore City Police to investigate a different Hit and Run there using a completely different vehicle that same day (3 hours apart). It is also my opinion that this continued behavior speaks volumes. His Atty also said he was suffering from heroin addiction and Post traumatic Stress due to Kara's accident. Well how does that account for the bad decissions made by him prior to Kara's accident. Again I am just glad he did not just have to pay fines and be done with it. Do I believe this is the last issue this driver will have? No, I just hope it doesn't cost someone else their life. R.I.P Kara Richelle Micciche
