Faith Loudon, the Pasadena resident vying for Maryland’s 4th Congressional District seat, is holding a picnic as a political fundraiser on Sunday afternoon in Davidsonville.
For the sixth year in a row, Dr. Jim and Marianne Pelura will host a summer picnic to raise money for the Maryland Republican candidate, according to a news release.
“Faith is not only a friend, but a good and honest person,” Dr. Pelura said in a release. “Moral strength, ideological purity and a desire to ‘do the right thing’ are characteristics that define Faith and we are proud to host this event and, in our small way, send her to the U.S. Congress.”
In past years, the picnic event has featured candidates such as Robert Ehrlich and Michael Steele. Last year’s honoree was Senate candidate Dan Bongino, who will be in attendance again this year.
“I am truly honored that Dr. and Mrs. Pelura would have their special event for me and have me as their special guest,” Loudon said in a release.
The picnic wil take place on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 3725 Tanglewood Ln., Davidsonville, MD. Those interested in purchasing tickets for the picnic can contact Marianne Pelura at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets cost $50 per person or $75 for the whole family.
