In these tough budget times, people can feel guilty about incurring the expense of going out to eat, especially during the weekdays.

Local restaurants understand, and are offering regular specials to entice their patrons to make the trip without the guilt.

Here are samples of local specials from our dining establishments in the Broadneck area:

Deep Creek Restaurant

This week’s Thursday night bar specials include $5 hand-crafted cocktails, featuring Cuban Mojitos, the orange and ruby red grapefruit crush, as well as $8 for Deep Creek's crab pizza, $6 for their cheeseburger sliders and $2.50 for domestic bottles.

O’Loughlin’s

Their daily specials include "Rib Night" on Sundays, "Chicken Night" on Mondays, "Steal a Steak Night" on Tuesdays, "Irish Night" on Wednesdays, and "Steamed Seafood Night" on Thursdays. They also offer a huge brunch spread on Sundays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. that features all breakfast favorites as well as a carving station and their famous Maryland crab soup. The cost is $13.99 for adults, $10.99 for seniors (65 and up), $6.99 for children ages 6-12, with kids under six eating free.

Riverbay Roadhouse

This week’s specials include a 1.25 pound lobster dinner for $14.99 and steak night on Thursday, with a choice of Ribeye or Prime Rib for $12.99.

Broadneck Grill

This local favorite offers: a hand-cut New York strip steak dinner for $12.95 on Mondays; all-you-can-eat beef or chicken tacos for $8.95 on Tuesdays; a dessert for a penny with purchase of any entrée on Wednesdays; and beef, chicken or shrimp fajitas for $11.95 on Thursdays.

Griffin’s Grill

Griffins Grill is offering some lucky  St. Patrick's Day specials next week, including $5 Guinness pints, $5 Jameson shots, and $2 Yuengling pints with their food specials.
