Golf Center, Liquor Store Burglary Suspects at Large

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects in the burglaries.

Anne Arundel County police are looking to the public to help identify two suspects in two separate burglary incidents in Arnold in July.

The first burglary occurred at Severna Park Golf Center on July 11. A man broke into the business and stole a case and laptop before fleeing the scene, according to a press release from the police department.

A video of the incident from surveillance footage recorded in the business was posted on YouTube by the business owner, Rob Brilliant.

A separate incident took place at The Depot Wine & Spirits in Arnold on the morning of July 23. Two men broke into the business and took bottles of liquor before fleeing, according to a release from the police department.

The Depot's owner Mike Mangum also posted video surveillance footage from the incident on YouTube. He reported the incident to the police and said the store is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two suspects.

The two suspects in the video are shown smashing through a glass door with a sledgehammer, then grabbing a box of wine, two bottles of wine and two bottles of vodka. Mangum said they dropped everything but the vodka on the way out of the store.

Anyone with information on either incident or suspect is asked to contact Detective Jack Morgan of the Eastern District Detective Unit at 410-222-6145 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP or text “MCS" plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
