A house fire in Annapolis on Saturday resulted in only minor injuries.
A bedroom fire inside a home on Charred Oak Court was battled by dozens of firefighters on Saturday night.
The fire at the home on the 300 block of Charred Oak Court in Annapolis started in the second-floor bedroom, at about 7:10 p.m. Saturday according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Keith Hamilton.
More than 30 firefighters from both Anne Arundel County Fire Department and the Annapolis Fire Department responded to the blaze.
There was damage to the bedroom and some in the hallway, but it was contained, Hamilton said. One person was treated on the scene for an asthma attack. There were no additional injuries, he said.
Firefighters checked two adjacent buildings, where there was some smoke, but no additional fire, Hamilton said.
