A caller asked one of our "Patchers" what happened near Broadneck Elementary this morning that involved police activity.

Patch contacted the Anne Arundel County Police Public Information Office and received this response from Justin Mulcahy:

"The incident you are referring to was a report of a fight involving two male subjects in the area of Forked Creek Road and Mosswood Court at approximately 8:10 a.m. It appears the subjects involved were acquaintances and were involved in a dispute that turned physical. The suspect began assaulting the victim. The incident was over when police arrived. That suspect was taken into custody a short time later around 8:30 a.m. at his residence and charged with First and Second Degree Assault."
