Planning to take the ACT or SAT soon? The deadline to register for the June tests are right around the corner.

Registration to take the ACT on June 9 is Friday, according to the test's website. Registration for the June 2 SAT is Tuesday, according to the College Board.

In November, Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) said its schools continued to exceed state average SAT scores for the 15th consecutive year. The county also noted in a statement an increase in its SAT participation among Hispanic and black students.
