Lego Robots Battle It Out Saturday at AACC

Teams of students will put their creative skills to the test at a robotics competition this weekend.

The greatest Lego robots built by students and robotics enthusiasts from across the region will gather in Arnold Saturday for a chance to test their skills.

The event is a First Lego League competition pitting teams of students, ages 9-16 years old, against each other in a series of competitions. Each team of up to 10 students and one adult coach construct and program an autonomous robot and develop creative solutions to physical challenges.

The block-constructed robots will wind through an obstacle course, programmed with only a basic logic that allow them to interact with a pre-constructed environment.
