Men Attempt Robbery at Gunpoint in Cape St. Claire
The suspects were seen driving a dark green four-door vehicle without front registration plates.
Two men attempted to rob another man at gunpoint in Cape St. Claire on Wednesday morning—but he had no money, according to police.
Around 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, in the 1300 block of Cape St. Claire Road, a 45-year-old man was approached by two men who demanded he give them money. One of the men was carrying a firearm, according to a release from Anne Arundel County Police
When the man said he did not have any money on him, he was struck by one of the suspects, and they fled in a vehicle, police said.
Officers arrived on the scene shortly after and found the man had been injured, but he refused treatment at the scene. Officers canvassed the area to locate any potential witnesses. A search for the suspects is ongoing.
The suspects were said to be tall, wearing military fatigues and had bandannas over their faces. They were seen driving a dark green, four-door vehicle with no front registration plate.
