Knights and fair maids galloped down lanes—lances in hand—to spear tiny rings and claim the title of best jouster in Broadneck on Saturday at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.

This is the 15th year since the local church started hosting a jousting tournament. There was also a craft fair, which has been a counterpart for the tournament since it began.

Former national and state champion jousters were also there Saturday, surveying the knights and maids—as they're called when on horseback.

For the complete story on the big event, check back later this week.
