A buzz of activity filled the hallways at most schools in the Broadneck peninsula on Monday morning—school is back in session.

I toured several schools this morning and took photos of students returning to classes. Do you or any friends have photos of your students all dressed up for the start of school? You can post them here and share them with the rest of Patch.

Students were welcomed back by faculty and staff early Monday morning at Windsor Farm Elementary by Principal Jason Otte and a big "Welcome Back" sign decorated with balloons.

It was also the first day at school for hundreds of freshmen at Broadneck High School. The remainder of grades at BHS start back Tuesday. The school recovered quickly from flooding earlier this month

The start of school at Broadneck Elementary School was delayed for a day to finish up a construction project.

Thousands of students arrived back in full force at Anne Arundel Community College. Students were already exploring the quiet nooks of the new facility and using the computer lab to look up information on their new classes.
