Police released a sketch of a purse snatcher who robbed a woman in the Chesapeake Academy parking lot on Wednesday.

The man is described as a black male in his 30s, 6-feet tall, weighing 210 pounds, clean shaven with an average build, according to a police press release.

A 57-year-old woman sustained minor injuries when a man reportedly grabbed her purse off her shoulder and knocked her to the ground, according to a police release. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a silver sedan. The incident took place in the parking lot of the Chesapeake Academy, located at 1185 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Arnold.

Phone calls are not recorded and callers remain anonymous. Tips that lead to the apprehension of a suspect may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000, according to a release.
