Police Respond to Fire Marshall Call in Arnold

Fire Marshall report hearing gunshots, but police find nothing.

Anne Arundel County Police received an assistance call from a county Fire Marshall representative at a home on Dream Point Road off of Alameda Parkway at approximately 3:20pm this afternoon in Arnold.

Though county fire officials did not have information on why the Fire Marshall's office was at that specific location, officials did say fire marshall personnel believed they heard the sound of gunshots and called for county police responders.

Lt. Frank Tewey of the Anne Arundel County Police Department said that once the department received the call, they sent the resources they believed necessary to the scene with the information they had, including a tactical unit. After further investigation, the source of the noise was not found.
