I have to agree that Lauer's is the best. Great customer service, great prices, and of course because it's a LOCAL business.

Angels, hands down. Since I moved into the area in 1972 the Clocker family have always catered to the community's needs and wants. A small country store service in a nice modern supermarket. What more could you want.

Lauers in Pasadena Maryland ~ The best bakery around, fastest checkout/customer service, and amazing products to offer. My family and I wouldn't get our cakes anywhere but from Lauers! Stephanie is also the best decorator. She is very easy to work with and very creative. Plus some of employees there know you by your name and remember what products you get all the time.

Lauer's Supermarket in Pasadena. I love shopping there. Many of the employees there know me by name. Some even know my favorite bakery, deli, and hot food items. I work in Glen Burnie and some of my coworker will get me to bring in some of their wonderful bakery items.

It is a tough choice between Lauer's and Angel's. But I would have to say Lauer's because of their bakery.

I second the Shop Rite in Glen Burnie and that says something since the closest grocery store to me is Angel's.

Graul's hands down. Everyone there knows MY name and my son's name and he knows theirs! (he is 3) I love the brands they carry; the people behind the fish counter are always there to tell me what is best and delicious, and they are community activists with Donna and Pat doing the Polar Bear Plunge, their support of My Brother's Pantry and the ASPCA. During the last major power outage they stayed opened, and fetched emergency goods for their customers despite probably losing thousands in food stuffs. Great neighborhood food store.

Giant for convenience, variety of goods, and speed of transaction. But Graul's Cape St. Claire for their Deli.

The Organic Market in Severna Park. Only go to the Giant if pressed. Safeway a distant third.
