Summer is here, and with it another opportunity to catch up on some fun reading that you won't get graded on.

Kids from kindergarten through eighth grade can seize this opportunity and join the Summer Reading Club at the Broadneck Library.

The party will include face painting by a local Australian face painter, Christalene Karaiskakis, a scavenger hunt and crafts. While there, kids can be registered for the reading club.

The party will be 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at the Broadneck Library.
