DESCRIPTION:One of Annapolis&rsquo\; best-loved holiday traditions is the
  Annapolis  Chorale&rsquo\;s annual Celebration of Christmas concerts.&n
 bsp\;&nbsp\;\nThe holidays  wouldn&rsquo\;t be complete without the soun
 d of &ldquo\;carols being sung by a  choir\,&rdquo\; in this case a real
 ly big choir.&nbsp\; The Chorale&rsquo\;s Celebration of  Christmas conc
 erts\, led by Live Arts Maryland Music Director J. Ernest  Green\, are T
 hursday\, December 6 (7:30 p.m.) and Friday\, December 7 (8  p.m.) at Ma
 ryland Hall for the Creative Arts.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;Everyone has 
 a favorite  holiday carol or song and we work hard to&nbsp\;include as m
 any as we can\,&rdquo\;  says Mr. Green.&nbsp\;\nWith a mix of holiday m
 usic\, sentiments and fun\, the  Chorale welcomes the season with the An
 napolis Youth Chorus and special  guests soprano Christina Lamberti and 
 baritone Michael Ryan.&nbsp\; Providing  glorious accompaniment to all t
 he musical proceedings is the Annapolis  Chamber Orchestra.\n&nbsp\;An a
 ccomplished opera singer at home and abroad\, Ms. Lamberti&rsquo\;s  sin
 ging has been called luscious\, eloquent and powerful.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; She
  was the  soprano soloist with the Annapolis Chorale for last season&rsq
 uo\;s  performances of the Verdi Requiem.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; She is a veteran
  opera performer\,  having sung such roles as Donna Elvira in &ldquo\;Do
 n Giovanni&rdquo\; and Mimi in &ldquo\;La  Boheme.&rdquo\;&nbsp\; One if
  this year&rsquo\;s concert highlights will be Ms. Lamberti&rsquo\;s  pe
 rformance of &ldquo\;O Holy Night.&rdquo\;&nbsp\;\nMr. Ryan\, who perfor
 med for presidents  and world leaders for nearly 40 years as a member of
  The President&rsquo\;s Own  Marine Band\, will delight with &ldquo\;&rs
 quo\;Twas the Night Before Christmas\,&rdquo\;  among other selections.&
 nbsp\; Mr. Ryan appeared as Uncle Arvide in Live Arts  Maryland&rsquo\;s
  September production of &ldquo\;Guys &amp\; Dolls.&rdquo\;&nbsp\; He is
  also the  music director at St James Episcopal Church in Lothian.&nbsp\
 ;\nThe heart of  Celebration of Christmas is the 170-member Annapolis Ch
 orale\, which will  perform audience favorites including &ldquo\;White C
 hristmas\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;Sleigh  Ride&rdquo\;&nbsp\;and &ldquo\;Sing W
 e Now of Christmas\,&rdquo\; just to name a few.\nEveryone  joins the ch
 oir with a special carol&nbsp\;sing-along finale conducted by Mr.  Green
 .\nMembers of the Annapolis Chorale come from communities all  around th
 e region including Edgewater\, Davisdonville\, Columbia\, Deale\, Pasade
 na\,  Severna Park\, Crofton\, Laurel\, Bowie\, Glen Burnie\, Crownsvill
 e and Baltimore.
