DESCRIPTION:One of Annapolis&rsquo\; best-loved holiday traditions is the
  Annapolis Chorale&rsquo\;s annual Celebration of Christmas concerts.&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;\nThe holidays wouldn&rsquo\;t be complete without the sound 
 of &ldquo\;carols being sung by a choir\,&rdquo\; in this case a really 
 big choir. The Chorale&rsquo\;s Celebration of Christmas concerts\, led 
 by Live Arts Maryland Music Director J. Ernest Green\, are Thursday\, De
 cember 6 (7:30 p.m.) and Friday\, December 7 (8 p.m.) at Maryland Hall f
 or the Creative Arts.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;Everyone has a favorite ho
 liday carol or song and we work hard to&nbsp\;include as many as we can\
 ,&rdquo\; says Mr. Green.&nbsp\;\nWith a mix of holiday music\, sentimen
 ts and fun\, the Chorale welcomes the season with the Annapolis Youth Ch
 orus and special guests soprano Christina Lamberti and baritone Michael 
 Ryan.&nbsp\; Providing glorious accompaniment to all the musical proceed
 ings is the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra.\n&nbsp\;An accomplished opera s
 inger at home and abroad\, Ms. Lamberti&rsquo\;s singing has been called
  luscious\, eloquent and powerful.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nShe was the soprano so
 loist with the Annapolis Chorale for last season&rsquo\;s performances o
 f the Verdi Requiem. She is a veteran opera performer\, having sung such
  roles as Donna Elvira in &ldquo\;Don Giovanni&rdquo\; and Mimi in &ldqu
 o\;La Boheme.&rdquo\;&nbsp\;\nOne if this year&rsquo\;s concert highligh
 ts will be Ms. Lamberti&rsquo\;s performance of &ldquo\;O Holy Night.&rd
 quo\;&nbsp\; Mr. Ryan\, who performed for presidents and world leaders f
 or nearly 40 years as a member of The President&rsquo\;s Own Marine Band
 \, will delight with &ldquo\;&rsquo\;Twas the Night Before Christmas\,&r
 dquo\; among other selections.&nbsp\;\nMr. Ryan appeared as Uncle Arvide
  in Live Arts Maryland&rsquo\;s September production of &ldquo\;Guys &am
 p\; Dolls.&rdquo\;&nbsp\; He is also the music director at St James Epis
 copal Church in Lothian.&nbsp\;\nThe heart of Celebration of Christmas i
 s the 170-member Annapolis Chorale\, which will perform audience favorit
 es including &ldquo\;White Christmas\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;Sleigh Ride&rdquo
 \;&nbsp\;and &ldquo\;Sing We Now of Christmas\,&rdquo\; just to name a f
 ew. Everyone joins the choir with a special carol&nbsp\;sing-along final
 e conducted by Mr. Green.\nMembers of the Annapolis Chorale come from co
 mmunities all around the region including Edgewater\, Davisdonville\, De
 ale\, Pasadena\, Severna Park\, Crofton\, Bowie\, Glen Burnie\, Crownsvi
 lle and Baltimore.
