Located near the beautiful waters of the Chesapeake Bay, St. Margaret's is actually older than the United States. Founded in 1692, St. Margaret's continues to be an active church, offering a variety of Christian education and mission programs for small children through adults. Housed in the church building is the St. Margaret's Day School for preschoolers aged 2-5. Music is a large component of the church's outreach as well, including their community music concert series featuring celebrated musicians throughout the Baltimore-Washington area. The church also sponsors an annual Jousting Tournament which has been around since 1862. It is a huge charity event centered around the official sport of Maryland.
