New Hope Chapel is affiliated with Converge Worldwide (formerly Baptist General Conference), but is a church whose members are from a wide variety of denominational backgrounds. The church's leader is Rev. Gary Derechinsky, a Messianic Jew brings great understanding to the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. Services are contemporary with Sunday School classes and small groups as well. The church also hosts a monthly coffeehouse for local performers.
