This Week: Meal Race, Concerts, Market House Nears Opening

A race for meals, plenty of concerts and a potential Market House opening highlight the coming week.

This week—The Market House may open its doors finally. In July, city officials said instead of having each vendor open individually as they completed their renovations, they would instead open all at once. The date? It hasn't been set, but officials said it would happen in August. Will it be this week? 

Monday at 10 a.m.—Storytime in the Reading Garden at Quiet Waters Park
Children and adults of all ages are welcome for a summer reading in the garden at Quiet Waters Park.

Tuesday at 7 p.m.US Naval Academy Band - Wind Ensemble
The United States Naval Academy Band, “The Navy’s Oldest and Finest”, will present a free concert at Annapolis City Dock.

Wednesday at 8 p.m.Sly 45 Acoustic Duo
Join in the fun at an acoustic, rock and roll musical duo at Federal House. 

Saturday at 8 a.m.Feed Annapolis 5-Mile Run & 2-Mile Fun/Run Walk
A fun run at Bates Middle School will benefit students in Annapolis by providing meals for them to take home from school.
