Broadneck's own My Brother's Pantry will soon be in a similar fix if food donations do not increase. My Brother's Pantry is a food relief organization founded in 1986 to aid the hungry of the Broadneck Peninsula.
They provide monthly food aid to more than 130 needy households ranging from families with children to individual adults and senior citizens. One-time emergency needs are also fulfilled.

Any in-date, non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at Broadneck EP Church, 235 Bay Dale Drive between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Call 410-757-5190 with questions or needs. My Brother's Pantry also accepts financial contributions. Mail your check made out to "My Brother's Pantry" to PO Box 223, Arnold, MD 21012.

The Pantry is staffed 100% by volunteers from the following congregations; Asbury United Methodist, Broadneck Baptist, Broadneck Evangelical Presbyterian, Cape St. Claire United Methodist, Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian, College Parkway Baptist, Gloria Dei! Lutheran, St. Andrew by the Bay, St. Margaret's Episcopal, and Temple Beth Shalom. Interested congregations can volunteer by calling 410-757-5190.
