The Rev. Jane Hague Named to St. Margaret’s Staff
The Rev. Jane Miliken Hague has been named as Assistant to the Rector for Missions and Outreach for St. Margaret’s Church in Annapolis.
Rev. Hague is currently the Associate Rector at the Church of our Saviour Episcopal Church in Silver Spring, MD. She comes to the ordained ministry after a long career as a lay leader. She was one of two licensed lay preachers in the Diocese of Washington and is invited to preach throughout the Eastern seaboard. As a contemplative, she leads retreats and offers spiritual direction and serves as adjunct faculty of the Shalem Institute.
Jane is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary. Prior to her work at Our Saviour, she served as coordinator of the Welcome Table of the Church of the Epiphany, DC. This is a feeding program, which serves 175 men and women of the ‘down-town’ poor of Washington, DC

Jane is also a professional gardener and works for ‘Garden Grooming’, a company which maintains civic and residential gardens in the Washington area. She and her husband have two grown sons. They enjoy hiking and have traveled all over the world exploring the countryside and trails.
She will begin at St. Margaret’s officially on September 1.
