Broadneck Twirlers Head to Nationals

Illusions Baton ending their successful season at nationals next week.

Every week from September through July, a group of local girls travel to Broadneck Elementary School in the evenings and learn about determination, competitiveness, and teamwork.

The girls are members of the Broadneck Illusion Baton & Pom Corp. The Corp. is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers and parents and is affiliated with the United States Twirling Association.

Competitions began in April, with the state competition in May. After this successful season, the girls travel to Little Rock, AR, this month to compete at nationals.
