Check for Flight Delays and Cancellations at Baltimore, Washington-Area Airports

Winter Storm Hercules is causing snarls at the region's airports.

As Winter Storm Hercules pushes eastward out of the Great Lakes and heads toward New York, expect a ripple effect at airports.

An initial band of light-moderate snow Thursday from New York state and northern Pennsylvania to New England will give way to a more expansive area of snow by Thursday afternoon and evening over much of the Northeast from West Virginia and Maryland to southern Maine, says the Weather Channel.

The National Weather Service has issued blizzard warnings for Long Island, the south shore of Massachusetts, and Cape Cod. Across Maryland expect highs in the 40s on Thursday, with a cold Friday, highs in the mid-20s.

On Thursday morning, Baltimore's airport was and Reagan National were experiencing arrival and departure delays of 15 minutes or less.

Baltimore-Washington International Airport reported normal operations, with delays of 15 minutes or less.

Ronald Reagan National Airport reported normal operations, with delays of 15 minutes or less. 

At Dulles International Airport, fewer delays have been reported, with delays of 15 minutes or less.
