First Snow of the Season

Mother Nature graced us with our first real snow of this winter's season. Though only predicted to reach 1-3 inches, the snow has caused the cancellation of all after school activities for the county school system as well as all county recreation and park activities in the schools, county rec centers, county senior centers, and School-Aged Child Care (SACC) programs.

County Executive John Leopold issued a statement today assuring county residents that road crews are out treating the roads but urged drivers to be cautious. A list of tips available from the county can be found here.
