Frugal Family: Electronic Coupons

Now there is a way to still pick and choose without the clipping.

Though I have watched the shows and television appearances of coupon "experts" and been impressed with the huge savings they reap on a regular basis, I have to admit that I am just not a coupon clipping type of person.

First off, wading through coupons located in print publications is time consuming, and, because I am not prepared or organized, I usually forget where I placed the coupons that I did manage to clip.

The online coupon offerings are more convenient, as I spend a lot of time on the computer, but taking the time to print and cut is also not a task that I would take the time to do.

Also, when I am in a longer line at the store, using coupons adds to the time the people behind me have to spend and stress starts to creep in as the cashier, or worse, I have to enter them into the system.

For busy moms like me who wish to save but don’t want to mess with the printed coupon issues, electronic coupons could be the answer. You simply choose which coupons you want to use online and then the electronic coupons load directly onto your participating store savings card that you choose to use. Then these coupons are automatically deducted at the checkout when you swipe your card.
