Local church uses fun activity to raise funds for popular 5th Quarter program.

What better way to raise funds for a youth-centered program than to provide an afternoon of fun for local kids?

This past Friday, students from elementary through high school age were offered an evening of laser tag games at the Broadneck Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Arnold.

The event was a fundraiser for the church's popular "5th Quarter" program which offers Broadneck High School students a safe, positive place to spend time with friends after home football games in the fall. The events, held at Broadneck Park, provide an alternative to other parties and late night activities that include drug and alcohol use.
