Tree cutters were parked along College Parkway on Monday afternoon to clear the power lines of problem branches.
Crews from Lewis Tree Service, a contractor of BGE, were working throughout Monday afternoon to trim back tree limbs from power lines.
Fallen limbs and trees are a major cause of power outages. When they get out of control, contractors are hired to sweep the area of problem branches.
