Truck Overspill at Local Station Prompts Quick Cleanup
Incident occurs at Exxon station on Buschs Frontage Road this morning.
A truck driver pumping gas into an underground tank at a local gas station this morning overestimated the amount needed in the tank, resulting in a gas spill of 100 gallons at the Exxon station in the 300 block of Buschs Frontage Road.
A cleanup crew from the Maryland Department of the Environment said they were dispatched to clean up the spill around 6 a.m. this morning. Cleanup efforts were completed by 10 a.m.
