'Shrek' and 'Snow White' Among Children's Theatre's Annual Lineup
Auditions for "Snow White" are Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25 at the theatre.
The Children's Theatre of Annapolis has announced its 2013-2014 lineup, and it includes a few children's favorites.
The first play this year will be "Snow White, A Grimm Brothers’ Fairy Tale," premiering Oct. 11. The play is written by local playwright and CTA alumnus Dylan Roche.
Next up is "Shrek the Musical," based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture. The musical adaptation was also performed on Broadway. Shrek hits the stage in January 2014.
And finally, the family favorite "Pippi Longstocking" will delight audiences in April 2014. The play will be a partnership with the Seattle Children’s Theatre and Children’s Theatre Company-Minneapolis, according to a press release.
