Fall Sports Tryouts Kick Off Wednesday at Broadneck

Are you ready for the start of the fall sports season in Broadneck?

As summer winds down, the Broadneck High School campus will soon be busy with warm-up drills, practice games, intense fitness training and a lot of very competitive and anxious athletes.

Tryouts for all fall sports—including golf, football, cheerleading, volleyball, boys and girls soccer, cross country, field hockey, and unified tennis—begin on Wednesday at the high school's main fields.

BHS Athletics Director Ken Kazmarek said it's an exciting time for students in an area that's so dedicated to sports.

"They're all cranking up and ready to start," he said.
