Davy Dance Celebrates National Dance Week With Free Classes

Take a free lesson in hip-hop, zumba and more styles of dance this Saturday.

The Cape St. Claire-based dance academy, directed by Michelle T. Davy, is hosting a series of free dancing classes to kick off National Dance Week.

The week is celebrated by dance studios cross the country in a variety of ways, including flash mobs, fitness-based events, and parties. At Davy Dance Academy, Davy hopes to show off her lineup of classes with some free tastes.

"This is an opportunity for people to meet our teachers, experience different styles of dance, have fun and get a few tips about getting healthy and staying active," Davy said.
