New Wine Shop Cheers & Spirits Opens in Arnold

Cheers & Spirits, the newest wine and liquor store in Broadneck, opened its doors this week after remodeling the spot vacated by The Depot in January.

The renovations at the business are evident as soon as customers walk in—track lighting, polished floors and new ceiling tiles give the entire space a professional feel.

Store manager Amrish Vyas said he hopes the new store fills the gap left by the departure of The Depot. Vyas said he will bring new items not previously offered in the area, including a wing of the store dubbed the Craft Cave that will feature craft beers.

"The variety of wine and spirits that we will bring in will speak for itself," Vyas said. "We're trying to give shoppers an experience they haven't had before."

Vyas said the store is open now even though they are still in the process of filling their shelves. A grand opening is planned by Labor Day, he said.

Cheers & Spirits is located in Arnold Station at 1460 Ritchie Highway in Arnold.
