New Wine Shop Pulling Into Arnold Station

A new business is coming to Arnold Station in place of The Depot.

Cheers and Spirits, a new wine store under construction in the old spot for The Depot, recently put up its logo outside the shop in Arnold Station.

The upcoming business has inherited the location of the former , which closed in January. Since then, talks had swirled among local business owners that another wine vendor had been secured for the location, but no confirmation.

The former owner of The Depot, Mike Mangum, who operated the wine store for more than a decade in Arnold, said he chose to leave in January because the owners at Arnold Station had increased their rent. Mangum is currently working on opening another wine store in Annapolis.
