Poll Results: Most Want New CVS

Sixty-six percent of readers voted in favor of a new CVS being located in Arnold.

The developer for the CVS proposal, JC BAR Properties Inc., has scheduled an informational meeting on Wednesday to give the public more information on the project. Representatives from the developer and the county's planning offices will be in attendance.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the .

News spread about the proposal late last week after President Elizabeth Rosborg sent invitations to the public for the Wednesday meeting. She also was seeking public input on the proposal.

Rosborg told The Capital that some were in favor of the new pharmacy, saying it would bring additional jobs, but most seemed against the CVS, saying it could increase traffic at a critical intersection along Ritchie Highway in Arnold.
