A Reaction to Osama bin Laden's Death

An airline pilot, who felt particularly affected by the events of 9/11, honors the Navy Seal team that carried out the assassination.

Dwight Mackel sports a Navy Seal hat at McGarvey's at City Dock in Annapolis on May 2, 2011—one day after President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden was captured and killed by Seal Team Six. Dwight, a pilot, said he was particularly affected by the Sept. 11 attacks. "I'm here wearing the hat," said Mackel of Annapolis. "For me, it really hit home. Everyone was affected by 9/11, but I'm a United pilot."
