Arnold Waterfront Remodel Receives Award

The Home Builders Association of Maryland recognized an Arnold project by Doug Pruett Construction.

An Arnold home recently won an award of excellence from the Remodelers Council of the Home Builders Association of Maryland (HBAM).

Annapolis-based Doug Pruett Construction was recognized for an Arnold waterfront project where the whole house was remodeled for $600,000 or less.Β 

Winners of the 22th annual Remodeling Award of Excellence competition were announced on Thursday at the Towson Golf and Country Club.

According to a press release from HBAM, this program recognizes excellence in remodeling design and craftsmanship, creates a greater public interest in the remodeling industry and recognizes outstanding contributions by individuals and companies in the remodeling industry.

Judging for the competition was performed by a team of remodeling contractors from around the Baltimore area using the following criteria: quality of construction, degree of difficulty, value and cost effectiveness, unique and creative design approach and sensitivity to existing structure.
