Fairwinds Marina Auctioned for $1.8M

One of Broadneck's marinas was auctioned off on Thursday for $1,853,250, according to auction agent Scott Frank.

Fairwinds Marina, located at the mouth of the Magothy River at 1000 Fairwinds Drive in Broadneck, was sold to an undisclosed new owner for just under $2 million during the auction, which kicked off at 1 p.m. Thursday. The former owners were retiring after more than 50 years in the business.

The site features 143 boat slips, dry storage space for more than 200 boats and a sales and repair facility that boasts more than $1 million in annual revenue, according to the auction's listing.
