First Snow of 2012 Lands Overnight

It wasn't much to see, and it didn't stick around, but the first snow of the year hit Broadneck a little after midnight Thursday morning.

I'm not even sure if what landed could be classified as flurries. What I saw was more like the first dandruff of winter. But I couldn't help but be excited when I saw  

So I rushed out of the house around 1 a.m., still wearing my slippers, hoping to see signs that the flakes had spread just a little further south to Arnold. After a quick tour, I found trace evidence of "snow" on the windshields of vehicles parked outside the .

I know it's not much to look at. But what can I say? Snow puts me in a good mood. I'm sure that magic will wear off sometime in February when my car is covered in a block of ice.

Did anyone else around town happen to catch a glimpse of snow last night?
