Local Woman's Book on Broadneck History on Sale Now

Learn about the people and stories that formed the foundation of the Broadneck community in the latest history book from local historian Alberta Stornetta.

Stornetta's book, titled Arnold, Maryland and Neighbors on the Broadneck was published this month, and sales have been off to a great start, she said.

Stornetta has held two book signings in town, one hosted by the Arnold Preservation Council, and one at the Arnold Professional Pharmacy, where the books are for sale.

The next book signing will be July 22 at the Broadneck Branch Library at 7:30 p.m., with another talk and signing at the Arnold Senior Center in August.

The books are for sale at the Arnold Pharmacy and at the Anne Arundel County Historical Society's Browse and Buy Shop, located at 1004 Baltimore and Annapolis Boulevard in Severna Park.

Excerpts from the book are available to read on the Arnold Preservation Council's website.
