A man was pulled from the water at Sandy Point State Park Sunday afternoon and transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center while still receiving CPR, according to Chief Michael Cox, spokesperson for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Cox said that emergency personnel were called to the scene at about 4:16 p.m. by Sandy Point State Park personnel after the man, said to be in his 30's, was pulled out of the water. He was not breathing and had no pulse at the time he was pulled out, according to Cox.
